This is cute - Christmas photos

The girls got together, all dressed up, for some holiday photos today. They turned out so cute!!!

Hopefully the snow will stop for a bit and we can post more photos soon. Take care all!

Now this is cute

Cat Problems

Colby has been a little sick so we have the cats separated during the day. Colby was in the office with baby gates covering the entry stacked 3 stories high. I have no idea how, but when I got home colby was outside the gates and Luna was inside... Time to set up the webcam again...

Thanksgiving at Grandma Erickson's

We went up north for a little visit with Grandma Erickson...

Wii Andy vs. Wii Ben

Andy and Ben couldn't be there for Thanksgiving... OR COULD THEY??? Thanks to the Nintendo Wii, Ben defeated Andy 4 times in a row at Bowling. Sorry about your stats Andy, you'll have to talk to gumpy about that...

A visit to Auntie Michele's

Today we visited Auntie Michele and Uncle Ashley in Beloit. Zoe was quite a little sleeper but she woke up for the last half hour or so. Bela was pretty good and had fun playing with little Austin. Thanks for the presents guys!

The packers are 7-1 since Zoe was born and went 7-1 after Bela was born! Time to have more babies!

Bela's Birthday

Bela had her birthday party at teh great wolf lodge in the dells. Unfortunately she had a terrible cough all weekend and was under the weather. :(

She still had enough energy to have some fun, an hour or so at a time. She had the croup and that was a little scary! She still has the cough and is just getting back to her normal self. Poor bela!

10.28 - A trip to the house on the rock....

Packers win again. Papi woke up the whole house with that throw from Brett Favre. Awesome.
Bela predicts another win next week against the Chiefs. Zoe's Record as a packer fan is now 4-1.

We went to the House on the Rock this weekend and had a lot of fun. There are many changes going on out there and it is looking really good. There is a new walkway in the back where you can see the house from the outside and many of the enclosed walkways are opened up now so you can see all of the buildings from the outside. Pretty cool. There is also a new asian garden under construction and that looks really cool as well. Zoe did pretty well, really liked the music. Bela thought the player piano was "creepy" and had a blast checking out all the scenery. There was a man changing all of the windows in the infinity room and that was pretty cool because it was really windy out there with it all open like that.

That's about all for now, Bela has her dance recital in a couple of weeks and we are looking forward to that. And of course Halloween is on wednesday so we are all really excited to go trick or treating!

Zoe and Bela's Adventures this week

Thanks from Bela to Auntie Bonnie and Family for the awesome Halloween outfit! That is SO Bela, as she loves everything creepy, scary, and mysterious. It's Perfect! Thanks! Halloween is by far Bela's favorite Holiday, we celebrate all year. We'll have Halloween on Christmas. Huh?

Bela is looking forward to visiting Grandpa and Grandma Zeman really soon. I'll shoot you an email tomorrow. The lot looks awesome, thanks for the photos Tom. (That's weird, I am listening to high school football on the radio and they just mentioned a player named Tyler Zeman as I was typing that.)

This week started off with a family visit to the Union. Bela fed the ducks and then the seagulls. Birds don't like string cheese we discovered. We looked, but didn't see Uncle Andy or Cousin Lindsay. It was pretty subdued as the Badgers were getting stomped on.

Later, Bela stole daddy's ice cream and giggled uncontrollably.

The Packers moved to 3-1 in Zoe's lifetime. Next week, after the bye, Bela predicts another win to go to 6-1. Bela is excited to see the orange horses try to tackle the packers. But we all know they wont be able to!

Mom took some photos of Zo turning her head! Way to go Zoe!

Bela had her swimming lesson on Monday. She is doing so great. She must have dunked her head underwater about 20 times. In the pictures you can see her swimming on her own!

Anyway, here are this week's photos...

Bela goes underwater

Tonight at swim class Isabel dunked her head under water - on purpose and all on her own this time! She then proceeded to do it about 25 times, making sure that teacher, mom, dad and zoe were all watching. Way to go little brave one!

Bela's Packers vs. Zoe's Packers

Packer's Record since Zoe was born
2-1

Packer's Record first 3 games when Bela was born
2-1

Bela's Historical Prediction - Next Week
Packers beat Washington to move to 5-1

Zoe is so cute!!!

Little Zo-boo stopped to pose for a couple photos today. She is so cute!! Both Zoe and mama are doing great. Dad got to feed Zo from a bottle for the first time yesterday, and zoe was a bit confused but loved it and did great.

Zoe loves Culvers, China Buffet, eh, not so much. That's why Culvers is #1 I guess.

Today we tried to go to an Apple Fest, but it turned out to be an Autism event. Oh well. They had big bouncers just like at PUMP IT UP, but as Bela said "Someone took my powers and I got stuck on the slide!"

Maybe we watch too much Star Wars? I never knew that un-sweattiness was a jedi power until today at least!

Bela did wonderful as usual. She sure loves her class!

Swimming lessons

Bela had her swimming lessons tonight, she is doing great, last week she even put her head underwater for the first time and tonight she swam across the pool all by herself (with a floater belt). Yea Bela! Little sister Zoe came by also to watch. She was pretty fascinated by the humidity and the smell of the chlorine. It was pretty hot so she couldn't stay too long. Zoe has her second doctors appointment on Wednesday. All for now...
Papi
ps - we misplaced our camera somewhere in babyland :( but we got a better one on ebay. So more photos to come soon!

Thanks for all the emails!

9/26 Mom on her own tommorow

Mom and Zoe are on their own tomorrow for the first time! For a couple of months Dad gets to take Bela to school everyday and pick her up. So the car is all clean and ready to go, looking like new. Bela had to make sure that it "doesn't smell" and that she can see out the windows. So Dad has 3 trees, some carpet cleaner and a bottle of febreeze by his side.

The hardest part so far is adjusting to a new schedule for Bela. Bela is doing great 95% of the time, it's just that 5% that we are trying to work on with Little Bell. Zoe has been awesome, she is so serene, thank you Zoe!!

Good luck tommorow Mom and Zoe!

Weekday One

Zoe stayed home with Mom and Dad for the first full day today. She was a trooper, allowing Mom to take a little nap and allowing Dad to take Bela to school and to stop by work. Bela had a great day at daycare today, we were a little worried because she had a bit of meltdown last night, but she cried it all out and she was in a much better mood this morning. Got a nice visit from Uncle Steve and Cousin Libby last night. Belas and Zoe thank you for the gifts!! We read the book last night and we are about to play the puzzle game right now. Thanks for visiting, and sorry about Bela being a little rude. :( She still loves you, she's was just a little emotionally challenged yesterday.
Well, tomorrow it's back to school for Bela and a drop by work for Papi. Dad goes back full time on thursday, :P
Mom still has 2 months left before going back to work.
well, off to the puzzle....

9/22 Zoe's first trip - The Henry Vilas Zoo

On Saturday Zoe made her first trip to the Henry Vilas Zoo. Bela had a blast at the new children's climbing tree (although dad does not think it is safe for toddlers, too many big kids and too many hidden areas where you can't see your kids!)

Zoe did great, although she needed a break to feed. Bela was amazingly patient. Thanks Bela!!!

9/22 Ballerina Bela

Bela is in Ballet class every Saturday morning. Parents are not allowed to attend - oh my! The teacher does a great job with the 3-4 year olds, I don't know how! At least now we know that not listening and having a mind of your own is normal for a 3 year old!

In the end of the class there will be a recital, we are looking forward to it, Bela has some great new moves - the butterfly, the fairy, leaping and bounding. Of course, Bela can't get enough and wears her tutu all day long every Saturday.

9/21 Bela Holds Zoe

Bela holding her little sister for the first time. Bela is a great big sister! Bela is very careful and gentle with Zoe and she understands that Zoe is still pretty helpless. The age difference is pretty good, Bela is just grown up enough to understand, although, being a 3 year old, of course there are times when she forgets. So far she has been wonderful!

Zoe comes home 9/20

We brought Zoe home for the first time on 9/20 at noontime. She did good in her first ride in the van, forgot how nice it is to have the removable car seat. At home we settled in for the afternoon. The cats, Colby and Luna were very curious, especially Luna. She perched herself up high where she could get a good look at the new baby, she definitely knew something was up!

2nd visit - Grandpa and Grandma Zeman

Our second set of visitors, Grandpa and Grandma Zeman, came over of 9/20. Bela also stopped by to say hi with Gumpy and Grandma Kathy. Zoe did great. She loved being held by Grandma Sue, and she lasted a good hour in her arms before the need to feed kicked in.

Bela is also becoming a photographer! Her photos are the last few, you can tell by the 3 foot perspective. Bela is adjusting well to being a big sister, she is SO excited. She has been so patient and helpful and we are very proud of her! Zoe is so lucky to have such a great big sister!

1st Doctor Visit 9/20

Just got back from the first doctor visit! Zoe is doing great, has a little bit of Cephalhematoma, which is not dangerous and not uncommon. The doctor said that it should clear up in a couple weeks to a couple months. So until then she will be a bit of a conehead. :) Other than that her weight is good and she is looking healthy and strong.
